 Paul A. Stellini was born in Sydney, Australia but returned with his family to their native island of Gozo, Malta at age four. Mr. Stellini studied drawing under the tuition of renowned Gozitan artist Paul Camilleri Cauchi as well as design with Anthony Calleja. In 2005 he graduated from the Art’s Institute in New York after reading for a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. Currently he teaches graphical communications at the Agius de Soldanis Girls Junior Lyceum and art at the Wistin Camilleri, Gozo Centre for Arts and Crafts.
So far Mr. Stellini has organized eighteen personal exhibitions both in the Maltese Islands as well as abroad, namely in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, London, Rome and Wales. His latest personal exhibition entitled Untitled, was held at Art..e Gallery in February 2008. Currently working on 3 exhibitions to be held in March in Gozo and Malta as well in July in Rome.
His works can also be found in private collections all around the globe. Suffice it to say that the some of his works can be found in the private collections of the English soccer stars Michael Owen, Phil Neal and David Fairclough and Irish actor Gabriel Byrne.
Besides being an artist, Mr Stellini is also an interior designer and in fact he has carried out endless tasks for local restaurants and businesses and even private homes. Over these past years Mr Stellini was also commissioned to carry out artist’s impressions and designs for various landscaping and embellishment projects around the Island of Gozo. His latest project was the interior design of the Gozo Channel Mgarr Terminal. |
